Sticker Police! I need help fast with the 9er!

Hey, After much hate mail and bashing I removed the honda stickers from my bike.

the sticker on the swinger came off no problem, as well as the 919 on the rear fenders. The problem I'm having is I went to remove the tank stickers i couldn't get the razor blade under it? So I cut down the middle of the sticker and with some heat from the heat gun i was able to get it to come off. but the stuff that was over the sticker is kind of melted and is a real bitch to get cleaned off. it almost looks like an old chevy where the clear coat is coming off, but the dang sticker just won't release from around the tank.

What can I do to get it off?

Help???

Yea, I'm just messing with everyone that wanted me to remove the stickers. thought they might puke a little if they thought I messed up my tank... I didn't really do that... but thought it would be funny to mess with them

nobody reads the whole thing, so you will see them list my mistakes or tips on how to do it correctly.

you can't take it off unless you have the tank stripped and repainted. it is cleared into the tank

Goo Gone? Put some on there and let it react...then wipe off clean...unless you like your junk smelling orangy.

For non joke related issues.
This stuff is great for stickers.
One for putting them on & One for getting the goo off.

A nice stiff wire brush will remove most anything. I'd go ahead and just strip all the paint off your tank while you're at it, go for that polished steel look, kind of a Honda V-Rod.

Reminds me when my ol' boss called the body shop about how to get the shop logo off a company vehicle quickly. They told him they use 'oven cleaner', so he did it! OMG it was an ugly mess.

That belly pan always breaks me up every time I see it. It also makes me want to bake a lasagna. Delicious.
