She's so fine, my 919! (pic heavy!)

So, after a ten-year hiatus from riding, I bought a 2002 919 from a buddy...I'm really really happy with this bike! yesterday and today have been gorgeous sunny days with temps in the 70's...I've been out riding! I live in Boulder County CO, at the foot of the mountains...yesterday I was riding around on some of the backroads on the flats, and today I took off into the hills for a bit!

She's got a Carbon-fiber flyscreen, TB 4-1 exhaust, Givi crash bars, PCIII, Ohlins rear shock, sato (or rizoma?) rear set, carbon-fiber rear hugger and soon will have a super-cool WTF hornet decal! WooHoo!

Nice looking bike. I must admit every time I see the single low exhaust it grows on me. What mirrors are those?

Excellent, the best color obviously! I see it's already got some powdercoating done as well, nice accent touches. That windscreen looks like one I sold that bounced around WT through a few members hands.

Sadly my friend the former owner says he doesn't know about the mirrors...."I don't remember", he says...I'm so ashamed!

Well, fire the engines! Spur this iron space-pony on!

Nice looking 919, We'll have to get together for a ride some time, maybe we can get myztical and a couple of the other CO riders on here together.

Welcome, and that's a nice 919!! Looks like the previous owner really got the most out of it, fun-factor-wise.

We definitely need to do this later this spring when the weather is more predicitable, a little CO get together. Promise to be nice, specially since I will be outnumbered by 919 owners for sure.
