She did not lie

When she told me next time the 919 was blocked in keeping her from riding it she would take what ever was closest to the door.
Imagine sitting in your house and hearing your bike going up the driveway when YOU know it is in the garage.
It is not a good feeling.

Let me say that she does seem to fit on a stretched and lowered ZRX1200 quite nicely but it WILL be the last time.

Moral of story is the 919 is from now on at the garage door.

Go ahead and rub it in how skilled your woman is.
I have to keep my keys hidden or I'd find her in the hospital.

Did you check the mileage log that you have hidden in the freezer to see how far she went?

She ran out of gas but that is because it has a Pingel valve on it and was in the off position. She remembered me explaining it to her awhile back when I put it on the bike. She just turned it the opposite way (reserve) and it started. Pingel does take take long to fill carbs.
Her skill level is very low but she MADE HER POINT.

I decided to let this one go and not verbally reprimand her for it.

You all do understand that one ---- right?????

Indeed, You MUST paddle her behind.
I had the damnest of time just getting my wife to ride our son's mini bike around the yard. She'd never admit it was fun but I did see a smile on her lips when she thought we were outta sight.
You are a lucky fellow!

The 1st time I saw the smile on her face was when she was trying to learn on a 1986 TLR200 honda. When she was able to take off without killing it, shift a couple times and remember to pull the clutch in to stop - that girl thought she had just conquered the world.
4 years later and my bikes aren't safe anymore.

Oh I forgot when she came back she says "I think the niner can take it".

What a punk she is..............

You know you're lucky when you woman can ride. Look at it this way, now that she has ridden it, she can now fill it with fuel and wash it too. I cannot get my wife to do any of the above. Lucky dog!

riding is an addiction, no matter what you ride.

I have already heard "If the niner is nothing but a crap bastard then why is your ass riding it" I say "Just cause its new" she says "Rex would make a good paperweight" and walks off.

She did not even stay to explain it.

I never thought a damn Honda would cause a divorce and it isn't even a real bike. It might be fun to ride but still is no replacement for a REX.

She is starting to make me feel

I do have a serious question. Her birthday is next month and she has been wanting noise. Is there any problem with putting on a set of slip ons and leaving it that way? I haven't figured out which ones to try but I want to put them on and not tell her so when she starts it - well there will be that smiley face again.
Thanks == Bobby

you mean as opposed to also adding a power commander or whatever?
no problem at all. lots of guys have done that.
if i was gonna buy slip ons i think I'd get the Yosh tri ovals. i like the Yosh sound & seems like a decent balance of cost/quality.

ZRX1200R

It looks like a KZ from the mid 80's. I have a 2000 black 1100 that has jet kit, Hindle and GPZ1100 cams then there is my 2001 1200 that is a 12.5 cr standard bore, ported head and ZZR1200 cams with a 6" over arm and tubes lowered an inch.

She has already said if I want a niner to ride maybe I should sell the 1100 and I could my own to ride.
Wimmins never make any good sense.

I hear that a lot when I tell people my wife got me in to riding. There out there you just have to look for them. I found mine in a dive bar in Naples Italy. She was on a Ducatti!

Damn talk about spoiling someone (me) she is the QUEEN. I told her if I get her the "noise" as in slip ons she wants for her 919 as a bithday gift then that puts a big cut in the 1224 kit for the REX. She said she would settle for a fender liminator kit and pizza/hot wings.
Guess what is going out for $500 worth of work?

I that girl!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now to figure out what liminator kit to get.

I think she also said something like "You owe me". Wonder what that means?
