Sell or rebuild then sell?

Title asks the question. I obviously want to get as much for my love as possible since I'm obligated to sell her. I don't know if repainting will up the value enough raise the asking price. Tastefully modded and with a few scrapes that won't disappear (i.e. DM exhaust) I'm thinking new paint and a pro clear will only help. Either going OG glory red or GM Ming blue and gotta put a stripe on it. I'd like some opinions too on what's a fair asking price... If I paint I'll ask $4500 and try not to neg. below $4K. She's only got 5100 miles on her so she's still fresh. Please feel free to chime in and ask questions about condition to help me get a better price idea guys! You are all always a ton of help and couldn't be happier to have found this place! Thanks for everything you've shared with me as well as the well wishes after my lay down!

What all's wrong with it? How much without fixing it? Might be interested or have a friend that is. Austin's just 4-5 hrs away.

Gotta get handlebars fitted and a stator cover. She'll run with the best of them then. That's only a hundy in parts. Once it runs I'll need $4k.

So I've decided to repaint again. I've got a slightly dented tank I'm gonna get pulled (as opposed to the badly dented one now) and I'm going to match the paint to the new jacket I finally got. The one featured in my jacket poll. I like it. Not the greatest quality obviously but it'll save more skin than I originally thought. I'm gonna go white paint job with the red and black offset lines down the tank and plastic bits. Here we go!
