Road tripin forever

Hi everyone due to limited internet access lately i've not been able to visit ,but thought while i have the chance i'd update you all...... well where do we start.... I sold my house and brought a bus and im decking it out right now for full time living, it should be finished in a few weeks ..... but i've not forgotten the 9er...she has her own trailer that im hooking on behind.... and she has some new company.... brand new 2008 zx14 limited edition.... and a 1999 busa ..... while the zx and busa are great bikes they just dont come close to the fun factor i feel with the 9er...... kinda learning fast that speed and power while fun (and scary) still pale in comparison to the grin factor the 9er gives me every time i ride it ..... yep $ for $ its the best money i've ever spent.... and to all those that hunger for bigger better faster just know that its not the be all and end all..... im glad i didnt sell the Honda when i got the new beasts.... cos in truth they just lack the grin factor i get while riding the 9er I will keep y'all updated while im on my travels as im geting some kind of new fangled internet that comes through my mobile phone to my laptop but right now all i have is stupid dailup at my daughters house. As soon as a can i will post pics of my new house and bike home. Hope i posted this in the right place..... oh well if its not im sure someone will me lol. catch you all again real soon ...cheers Rearwheel

Must be nice to be retired, How about going to Manfeild and taking a couple of pic's of the track for old times sake?
Maybe they'll let you ride around if you tell them it's for an internet article!

How do you get mail? How do you take showers? Where do you cook? Where do you take a dump? Maybe by buss you mean RV?

Your adventure sounds crazy, but cool. Good luck! Hope it works out for you.

Hi Phobman i can nip out to manfeild any ol time ...and i do as its only 20 min away , i've watched many a good race there both cars and bikes but never done a track day or anything..... but wont be geting back there any time soon so you will just have to have a look on google earth lol. And im not so much retired but have been put on an invalids benefit due to the brain tumor thingy i have in me head...... the whole bus thing and traveling about is cos i may never get the chance again as this tumor is taking away feeling etc in my limbs and i really only have 2-3 years before im in a wheel chair so im making the best of what time i have left....... and super sneeky steve i guess i mean an RV but here we call em house buses and it has everything including the crapper lol..... cheers rearwheel

Oh man Rearwheel......I don't know what to say. Isn't there anything that they can do? Is it completely inoperable?

In the meantime enjoy everything you can and ride the wheels off of those things!!! You'll be in my thoughts and prayers man.

Wow that sucks big time. I'd do the same thing in your situation.

Maybe you can use that story to get hotties to show you their mommy bags?

Sorry to hear of your brain pain, Rearwheel, but it is great that you are taking the time to take this road trip around NZ.
Just saw that movie the Bucket list on TV and it really makes sense, to me, to get stuff down on paper and then git-r-done. Take good care and have an awesome adventure.

Sorry to hear about your condition, that is terrible. I am glad to see that you are not just sitting around waiting for your condition to get worse, but are grabbing life by the horns and going for a hell of a ride!!! Kudos to you. Keep us posted of your travels and have the time of your life!

After many years and many dreams I have realized my goal of riding in all 50 states!

Now the rest of the world!
