replacing key latch

Long story short, I need to replace my rear cowl. How difficult is it to move the key latch for the "trunk" from the old to the new?? Dont worry, I did not wreck, just being stupid and impatient.

Simple, once you remove the cowl you will see, just a clip holds the lock in place. Once you put the cowl back on make sure you have the latch and lock lined up right. Make sure the key will work the latch before you put the seat back on.
