First mod - remove and upgrade horn

Now I was really excited about installing my first custom thing but it turns out I can't even remove the bloody horn.

How do I go about opening the two clamps that are connected to the horn?
I hope I can open them without having to replace anything.

I purchased the PIAA horns because supposedly they are "plug and play", yet I cant remove the stock horn...

I guess I have to start somewhere

Thanks in advance!

Open them? They don't open, just pull straight off.

The wire terminals are spade connectors .... they push onto two small flat pins on the back of the horn .... just give them a pull and they should slide right off.

There is also alwasy a chance a previous owner has messed with the wiring or added another style connection .... if you have any other issues just take a pic and we can walk you through it.

Sweet thanks a lot Ian.

I didn't want to pull on it excessively because I was afraid that something would break. But i'll apply a bit more force, maybe it's just a bit stuck.

Thanks,
CJ

Indeed, it took a bit of force to unplug the 2 wires from the stock. I would assume its all the grime and such but I was successful. The PIAA horns are loud as hell...

Yay my first successful mod !!

Pretty soon you'll be saying "oh God I hope this is the last mod that I make!"

If only I had my own garage I would go crazy but I don't . So I'll keep it simple and easy for now. Mostly cosmetic.
