Radar detector install?

Anyone here have pics of where they mounted a radar detector?

I am thinking about using my V1 on the bike and wanted to get some ideas from those of you who have already but a detector on the bike.

I've been contemplating mounting my Escort and will be following this closely too.

A RAM ball mount platform to HB, held with velcro and connected audio to the autocom mixer. But with LIDAR it's useless.

Electronics in the cockpit of the GL1800:

The parts are Tech Mount HG-31001, and a RAM Radar Power Plate III. The RAM plate mounts to the Tech Mount plate, and the RD is held onto the plate via a STRONG magnet & a small metal plate that sticks to the bottom of your RD.

When you want to remove it, you simply lift it off of the plate, and disconnect the power cord.

I have a escort mounted on my wing using a ram handle bar mount and have been working on mounts for this unit for the 919. So .. i'm watching this thread.

I've been thinking 'bout a gas tank mount (typically used for camera) with an ear bud.

as a possibility.
