PWN Weather....

Yesterday, I left the house on the 919 and thought it was a little cold. Looked up on the hills and noticed new snow, went through a "valley" (state route 900 for the locals) and there was snow on the ground (not my favorite event). Today, it is already 47 degrees and rising, and I'll be leaving the house on the 10 in about an hour, to take one of my favorite 2 hours rides. WIERD????

Your summer at 115 is our winter,I wouldn't ride even at 100 but when it's 30 out I just put on layers and go..

Jeans and Mesh FTW.

Gets a little hot at lights and stuff, and I haven't done it in a few years. But, luckilly this summer I'll get all the riding i want in going cross country thru the north and escaping from the EXTREME heat.

50's here today. Just got back from a ride. Predicting 2 -4 inches of snow tomorrow! WTF!!!
I guess we'll take 'em when we get 'em.

Well, it was a beautiful ride. The air was still cold, but the sun was out in full force.

I went on one of my favorite loops thru the country. It was about 55 degrees, beautiful weather. I saw lots of wild turkeys out and about, but the highlight was seeing a bald eagle. Gives me chills to see one of those.

I've been riding for about 2 week already. As soon as the snow melted I was on the road. It was 27 when I pulled the bike out, and it hasn't gone above 48 yet. Minnesota riding!

Huh? Cold weather? 80's yesterday on a ride through the Texas hill country and low 60's (30mph gusts though) on my 170 mile ride from San Antonio to College Station.... I certainly can't complain I guess....

Where did you go riding yesterday? I started in Redmond, the afternoon temp was reading 74. I went through Carnation, Woodinville, Fall City & Duvall. Lots of fun country roads through farm lands; about 60-70 miles total. I got rid of the chicked strips - there's only about 1/4 inch left. I was able to open it up out there in the middle of nowhere; I saw 100 and 110 mph a couple times. That was plenty fast even on those long, wide-open country roads.

It's supposed to be about 70 the next couple days so I'll be back out there after work. Unfortunately by Thursday it'll be back to 50 degrees and rain for the next week...

Now that's bloody cold. A little too much information senor.

But please Steve, what you get up to in the privacy in your bedroom is between you and your missus.

I was up there Saturday, but my favorite road, Ben Howard Road, still has dirt and sand in spots. I also wondered up several side roads between Monroe and Duvall. Sunday I just wondered around the area a little, too much family stuff for a longer ride. Hopefully I can get back out tomorrow, before the rain returns.....
