Hey Brian, people who live in a climate where it only rains a few days a year don't deserve fast service!
I got mine a few days ago and love 'em. Neener Neener, Mo-Fo!

But seriously...

I just wanted the 919 part. I don't technically actually have a "Hornet" here in the USofA. I'm gonna put the 919 parts on the black side covers, the back of my helmet, and a couple on my car windows. Then chicks will dig me!

And I too love that groovy luggage rack! Since I'm planning a 2600 mile roundtrip motorcycle ride to sunny so-cal and back, I could most certainly use a cool rack like that!! Ventura, huh? I'll have to find them.

Stick-Pics to follow...

You're right again, those racks ARE cool. But 919.org only had pics, no link. So I Googled them. Found the manufacturers site with part numbers but still figure they are available cheaper at other aftermarket online retailers.

http://www.ventura-bike.com/fitments.aspx?modelid=350

919 / CB 900 Hornet (CB 900 F2) (SC48)
Description & Part Numbers:
L-Bracket H118/B
Pack-Rack PF13/B
Sport-Rack SR13/B
Grab-Handle GH13/19/B
Light-Guard VP073

Then when I searched their site for Distributors in USA, this was the ONLY one listed:

Distributor: CycleVenture
Address: 6911-A 216th Street SW
City: Lynnwood
State: Washington
Zip Code: 98036-7348
Contact Details
Email: [email protected]
Phone: 800-688-6439
Fax (425) 771 4246
Website http://www.cycleventure.com

Just FYI for those of you like me who now all of a sudden want one!
But they ARE no doubt available elsewhere.

The ones in the pictures on the site here in Washington are kind of cheesy looking. Nothing like the pictures in this thread. They actually mount with some kind of extension bar system below the frame. The ones I saw mounted directly were the OEM grab rail is. WTF is up with this? I just want to bolt it to my grab rail thread holes, not rebuild the bike. Besides, the ones at the site showed everything seperate. The rack alone was $55-60 plus the "L-Bracket" mounting system is $135-145. I think I'll keep looking for a cheaper alternative. But they are cool (in the thread pics).

Although they still call them L brackets, the rack does mount to the existing grab rail location.
What sucks is that they still charge the same even though the mount is smaller and simpler on the 919 than other bikes that need the L bracket thing.
I still bit the bullet and ordered one because I haven't found anything else suitable.
The other thing that sucks is the the Canadian $ right now as I had to order from the Washington place as they are the sole distributor for US and Canada.
Also shipping will cost me $32 US by USPS.
I should have the goods in a week.
