Please don't hit me!!!

OK, I done did it. I bought me a used K12RS yesterday. But, heck no, Lil Red ain't going no where! Dian started bugging me about riding again, so I got a killer deal on a 2000 model with 23K miles. Silver and Ford Blue. We needed a bigger bike with more wind protection. It has the tall sheild, ABS, heated grips, Throttlemeister, and I love the instant torque. Actually both bikes though 150lbs different have the same performance. 11:10 @ 120 in quarter. Top speed is supposed to be 150. Probably be a winter bike and Lil Red a summer bike when Dian gets tired of riding again.
Sshhh, she thinks I'm gonna sell Red.

Congrats man.

I think that's a great mix of bikes in the garage.

I have a 1998 Triumph Trophy to go with my 919 --- something big when I want to pound some miles or have a passenger, and the 919 when I need to hit the twisties.

Congrats Dickey. Post up some picks when you get a chance. I think about getting a ST bike, but can't imagine giving up the 9'er. Ride safe.

Congrats on the new ride! I'm jelous, I'd love to have a ST to park next to the 919 but that'll have to wait a few years...

Congrats on the new bike.
Nothing wrong with having another in the stable.
You need different bikes for different types of riding.
