Hi guys, I finally had some time to snap couple of pictures:

As you can see, just basic mods - bars, mirrors, seat, pipes, brake lines ...

nicely done, but you published your license plate ! now we're all banding against you and coming to your house in BC to steal it, or so i've read is the norm in web forums.

What's up with the Corbin? It looks much better (sleeker) than the one on their website!

Are those carbon fiber side covers? I've been on a mission to find some, if those are CF, would you please share your source?

I'm glad you like my bike (some of you like it so much they want to steal it :-)
I bought the bike already modified so I'm not going to know all answers but I'll try.

Yoshis - I love the pipes, great sound, super light
seat - yes, it is Corbin, probably some older model (the bike is 2002) with carbon fibre efect. It fits, feels, and looks better than stock but it's heavier
covers - they are CF but there is no brand name on them so I don't know what they are.

The guy I bought it from had no problem spending big bucks on his toys (Audi A3, Ducati 998 ...)
I got the bike pretty much for the price of the stock one :-)

tpirman, i'm kinda late to the wristtwisters party, but are there more pix of your bike posted conveniently? rather than revert to my 10 year old self and ask a million questions, i'd just like to answer most of them with my own two eyes and maybe just a few questions for you after.

thanks

I've seen those carbon fiber covers before, the thing is they're not like stock, they are longer and replace the intake covers as well, a look that I'm not into. Seems that everyone that used to made the stock type CF covers has discontinued them, ART, LP, etc.

Looks good man, I have the same year/color...did you paint the front of the intrument case black?

It's hard to be humble at 9 G's.

Nope, previous owner might have done that. I thought it was stock.

Nice looking bike!! Was it re-painted? Silver was offered in '04, and the wings on the tank look black on yours, mine look gray. My instrument case was chrome, later painted semi-flat black.
Again, nice looking bike! Mine was totalled so I'll be getting another one soon and am still debating whether I want another silver or the new red one...

It was stock 2002 colour in Canada. As much as I like that pearl red I would still get black or silver for myself.
