painting update

Here are a few pics i took of my bike after i gave her the 25 dollar paint job. the pics were taken from my phone so they arent great. Also these pics are over 4 weeks old but it took me this long to upload them.

If you look at the engine in in phase 1 of complete engine black out. the block is painted black right up to the cooling fins.

let me know what you think

Not sure about the painted gas cap, but the rest looks good.

And four weeks to upload pics? You need something faster.

Thanks guys, I'm happy with how it turned out considering it only cost the price of 4 cans of spray paint. that plus some tape and news papers and less then 4 hours of time and you could have a totally different looking bike. Oh yeah and a little primer and 800 grit sand paper too.

I think i may go over the black again and put on a gloss finish because the flat matte finish it has now shows spots whenever gas gets splashed on it and then i always worry about it staining the paint. Nothing a little water and honda polish doesn't fix though

Wow, spray paint huh? Taking flat black to a whole 'nother level I see.
