Next inquiry - How long braided lines???

Probably the very next thing I will do is to put some braided lines on the Hornet 900 (919) but I would like to know how long the lines have to be. Inches or millimetres,, it makes no difference which way you reply, I know 'em both...

When I traded the VTR in, I clean forgot to take the lines off the bike and it was only a couple of days later I realized that I could have used them on the Hornet but after I measured up I am sure the VTR lines would have been too short by a smidgen but on the Hornet it looks a begger of a job to route the lines through the steering head. The last thing I want to do is to have them flexing any more than they need to... With the VTR it was nice n easy to route them through...

Oh I didn't mention - I want two individual lines from the cylinder straight to each caliper, no tee joint/splitter...

31" for the right and 32" for the left. Why do I know this? I had a set made by G&J and the left side is like 48"... This is for stock handle bars...

Thanks mikochu,,

I measured out what I thought would be the best length using a piece of thick nylon string (or thin rope) and it came to about what you stated. I just wasn't sure if I did it right...

Cheers...
