Smile New-Used Bike,

I just picked up a 2005 CB900F5 for $5600, only 2700 miles... excellent shape, twin yoshimas exhaust, k&n air filter, custom lights front and rear, rear fender removal kit... How good was the deal. My last bike was a 2003 ZRX1200R...

well, you got about $900 in parts and the bike is barely broke in. I would say it was a pretty good deal. Hope you enjoy.

Did you get it off of Craigslist? Sounds like one that kept popping up in my searches while I was looking to get mine recently (just got mine last week). Congrats either way.

Yes, it is black. Traded the ZRX as a down payement on and an RV, used the RV for three years. Retired last year from second career. A couple of months ago wife's health went south a liile bit and she could not manage the steps in and out. Sold the RV on Tuesday got my 919 on Thursday. Never stopped looking at the local motorcycle shop in Houston. Good thing I kept all of the tools, helmet, jacket and gloves. The niner is a lot smoother than the ZRX, always like the 6 speed, but down on power compared to ZRX....but that is 1200 cc... Got it from local dealer in Houston.
Yes, I had to haggle with the dealer and even left when they did not come down enough. Went straight home and had 7 missed phone messages on cell phone. OTD was about 6500. I think I got a good deal. My last Honda was a 92 CBR600F3... I switch between Kawa and Honda my whole riding career.
