New T3 project

I may regret this one but for $400 I could not refuse. Bet you thought I meant Speed Triple, didn't you? The guy split the cases to install a new clutch and could not get it back together. His wife is now bugging him to get rid of it. It's a '76.

That's cool, it's shaft drive. I thought the only ones that made shaft drive back in those days were BMW.

Nice! Good luck with her. $10 says it's going to cost way more than you think to get it back to roadworthiness. I'm sure it'll be worth every penny, though.

Any bike project is better than work. Don't regret it. Put as much into it as you think it's worth, and if you get tired, sell it for more than you bought it for.

HA!!! Been trying that for years and it still hasn't worked...

Anyhow nice find Turbo! If you get bored with that one I have a sweet little '76 Bonnie that you can buy and tinker with next

Hmmmmm. We'll have to talk at the bbq. The only Triumph I had was a '73 total basket case. I traded it towards my BSA.

Another slight problem....when it rains, it pours. Hard.

Tomorrow night I pickup a Suzuki 750 2stroke water buffalo.
On the 28th I pickup another Kaw 750 Turbo that needs only an engine. Luckily I have four spares on the shelf. I'd better get a few things on evilbay!

That would look good in my garage, right next to my '78 Suzuki!

For $400, even if I couldn't get it running I would shine it up and park it in my living room as a conversation piece!

Good luck on a great purchase...
