New Playtoy

I wanted to thank everyone for their input while I was trying to decide which bike to get. After much deliberation, I chose the 04 Speed Triple Special Edition over the 919. My wife purchased it for me today as an early Christmas present from her and the kids. (Yeah me!!)

I chose the S3 over the 919 for several reasons, but the dealer was one of the primary ones. I was frustrated that the Honda dealers in the area would not let me test ride a bike. If they were worried I was going to dog it, they could have had someone follow me. Or did they not trust that I would pick it over the S3 if I rode it. I am sure I would have liked it, but was frustrated.

I did get to test ride the S3. Also, if the bike needs servicing for any reason, the Triumph dealer has loaners, demos, and used bikes that I can take for the day. Much like Ridge had the Bonnie earlier in the week. The dealer here does the same thing. The Honda place does not do that.

I will try to get pics up soon!!

Congrats, although technically you can't ride it until Christmas morn.

Congrats on your new ride. Did your wife put a big red bow on the S3? Post up a few pics.

I already know what an S3 looks like... I'd rather see a Texas woman with the bow on herself!
oh yea, congrats on the bike.
