New Paint

I haven't been around for a long time but I'm still riding the 9er and don't plan to stop. I had a little get off a couple of years ago and dented up my tank and scraped the tail. Repaired the tank and replaced the tail but couldn't decide on a color. I finally just took all the parts to a friend and told him to pick a color as long as it wasn't yellow or green. So I've attached a few pics of what he came up with. Pearl Orange. You can see his other work at
www.nationalsuperbike.com.

It was a cloudy day when we took the photos so they aren't great but it will give you an idea.

I like it.

Is that a small bell dangling beneath your bike so you don't get lost?

I like it as well. Just wondering why you didn't paint the rear handle and hugger?

Wow, I'm digging the orange. My father gave me a bell for my 9er as well. Supposed to be good luck. What kind of screen is that up front? I saw one on an sv650 and thought it would fit my 9er too... and it looks like it does, very well.

Again, sweet color.

Thanks for the compliments, wish I could take credit for the results. In answer to some of the questions:

Gremlin Bell sometimes called Demon Bell - supposedly keeps the road demons away from the bike. The fact that I had a get off obviously dispels that myth. Afew years ago I made the trip from Atlanta to Los Angeles on another bike. A friend gave me the bell. When I sold that bike I put the bell on the 9er.

I thought about going black on the grab rail but then I'd have to do the forks, triple clamps side covers, swingarm, and on an on. Decided to stay with the silver for consistency.

The windscreen is the National Cycles F-18. I had the Honda screen until my get off but never really liked it. The F-18 works as well and looks better. It was a few bucks cheaper too.
