New Nakeds

I like many of the new naked bikes coming out. My only question, is why do all the new headlights look like they came off an alien spaceship? Personally, I'm not a big fan on this...just wondering how other people felt.

Those kinda things start to look dated quickly. Can't go wrong with the classic design of the 919.

I'd really like to see honda build an old school cafe racer. Maybe an air cooled P-twin with a kick start. Yeah baby!

One of my favorite bikes on here was the 70's blue Honda scambler. I think it was a 350. I had a 400cc honda P-twin and I absolutely loved it. Wish I would have kept it.

When I look at the Suzuki B-King, I think Optimus Prime.

I thought that was only me !

But really, the new shapes are for a better light spread and for increased visability - So, there is some function to the strange shaped and odd looks.

RC 51 motor & frame, leave the suspwnsion & wheels/tires alone, remove body work, add fairly normal headlight/minimal windscreen, put a (single) radiator in front where god intended and... voila--perfect street naked.

Have you seen the Ducati 1098 Streetfighter? It's got big rocks...I'm sure the headlight will grow on you after a few rides.

Norton, you're asking for a KTM 990 SuperDuke.

But they're $13 or better, and are KTMs....

I would like the B-King more if it didn't have the huge plastics on the tank. Sitting on the B-King feels more cramped than expected. I would honestly rather the 919 over a B-King as far as comfort.
