new mirrors/grips turn signals ideas? for 04 919

So my bike droped sitting still, I need new bar end mirrors and new signals.. what would u guys recommend? I'd like to incorporate some gold into it some how, my bike is the silver bike.. What kinda turn signals could I get to be more stylish, I can't get rid of the back bracket they mount to as I have saddle bags that disconnect but mount to that bracket.. but looking for ideas on bar end mirrors and new grips, and maybe whole new handlebars, If I get new bars, I want some gold ones.

I love gold medium Renthals and had a set before my gold CB1000R 1 1/8" bars. So, yes, I highly recommend you get a set of medium Renthals in gold.

For turn signals, I'm running CBR600RR ones. '09 I think.

Pic of the turn signals:

I "think" these are the medium Renthals. I had high Renthals but didn't like them at all. The mediums were great!

No ideas on bar end mirrors.

Stock is steel so much bigger inside diameter than Renthals which are aluminum. Sorry, no ideas on bar-end mirrors. I've always ran the style in pics. Hopefully, someone will chime in for you.

I saw where some cut 1/2 off each side of the bars, is this necessary ?for the renthal meds? or do they feel good as is?

If you do an ebay search for 919 mirrors, you'll see their pic with "6" W-I-D-E Mirror Surface" on the pic. This is my second pair and they're excellent!

I did. The cables, etc, where too snug if not.

I have Renthal ultralows on my 919. They are a little on the wide side as is but I never bothered to cut them down. I'm running cheap Trackside bar end mirrors from Cycle Gear and they fit the bars without any issues. There are nicer mirrors out there but these function just fine and don't move around so I haven't felt the need to upgrade.

if not make go back to another style of mirror.. Still trying to pickout some stylish signal lights w/o going to the little LED ones..

The Renthal's utilize a 14mm (5.55 in.) inside diameter which is fairly common on aftermarket bars (that i've seen).
I too am running ultra low models, uncut, and am finishing up the ends with some new Yoshimura Bar End's for a Yamaha R6. If you have wide shoulders, you'll come to appreciate the wider stance but if not, it's very easy to cut down the bars.

Also, I strongly recommend you drill for the locator pins for your controls. If not, you'll have twist in your controls.

And the bar end mirrors from Bike Master are not too shabby. My buddy likes them for his Yamaha FZ-09.

I think I found a solution to fitting bar ends or bar end mirrors on Renthal bars

There are easier ways to mount the nice n' heavy OEM bar ends, I took a hacksaw to my OEM ends and cut them flush then mounted them with a set of CRG bar end mirror mounts I had laying around.

I realize not everyone has a spare set of mirror mounts but you could do the same thing with a piece of fuel tubing and a nut that would fit inside the bar in the below orientation:

Bolt -> Flush cut bar end -> fuel tubing -> small nut

You dont reallllly need the specialized "rawlplugs" concrete fasteners.
