New 919er

Hello all....

Just purchased my 07 919 about two weeks ago, already have about 550 miles and have no regrets!

I just installed my cabon fiber yosh slips ons, think i was hoping for just a little bit more noise from them.

Todd

Hey Todd. Glad you finally got on here. I guess you opted out of the Satos last minute? Yoshi's are great, too!

Yo Todd.

Give your Yoshis a few thousand miles and let us know how they sound then. Just about any slip ons are going to get louder with time. I know my Satos are a lot louder than they were when new.

You might want to check and see if you have the Yoshi's with removeable baffle.

Thanks all for the welcome!

Yeah, was set on the sato slip ons, and got turned off but dont know how.....i like my yosh's will have to check about the baffles.. I was suprised to get them, and the exhaust outlet is only about 1.5x larger than that stock....but like them....

Thanks again

T

Hey Todd you're just down the street from me! I just rode over to Deer Park on my 919 yesterday to see my son play soccer. Let's make plans to ride. I know you'll like your bike.

Bye the way I ended up cutting the baffles out of my Jaurdines because I thought they were too quiet.

Okay great I'm just off the Beltway on the other side of I45 right off of Beamer.

The next thing you should do if you really want it to wake it up is a Power Commander III. I don't think I'd spend anymore money on it until I did this. What do the rest of you guys think?

I may be going out for short spin tomorrow morning. I can't be gone too long I've got to get ready for my wifes birthday party.
