New 919 Owner

Hello all,

I just bought a 2002 919 yesterday, and this was the first forum to pop up that seems pretty heavy on 919 support, so I thought I would drop in and say hi! It's a 2002 with 23k on it, zx9 front forks, a lsl triple and bars, lsl light, pcIII usb, full yosh system, and an ohlins rear shock.

I'm probably going to be badgering you guys a little with questions, as I have some work to do on it :-)

Very nice. You have some expensive mods on there already.

Thanks!

Yeah, I was pretty excited to see all the extra goodies. Not pictured are some fancy blinkers, a new digital gauge cluster (which is probably going to be where my questions will arrive), and a hard luggage set that i need to go back and pick up from the seller.

I was a little concerned about the front end swap, but the thing handles very well, just need to figure out what year the forks are so I can get a fender :-)

That's Oak's old bike (oak1971). He likely put the details in a thread here.

Great score! I know this bike; been stalking it on CL for some time. Oak did post some of his stuff on here.

Just play. Have fun. Enjoy the game.

I thought it looked familiar. Now that explains it.
