New 919 owner

Hey everyone. New 919 owner here. Just bought a 2002 in October. I've been browsing this forum for a few months now, lots of good info. Paulibiker(member on here) was able to get me some parts for a single side Jardine exhaust. I thought you guys would like to see it, so here it is. I didn't get a chance to ride it yet...its been cold and snowy here in Pittsburgh. The pics aren't super clear, I had to take them with my cell phone, my wife dropped our camera in the river on our last canoeing trip!

Thanks guys. I didn't get to put very many mile on it yet, since I got it so late in the season. I must say it's a sweet bike though, much more comfortable than the sportbikes I've owned in the past, and good power to boot. I did notice that it can get a little buzzy on the highway...my only complaint so far, but nothing I can't live with.

LOL I live in castle shannon. this is the first time ive been in a forum with someone who lives so close.

I normaly ride thru the park when I take my rides.

What is your rideing style? there is a local group I go with on sundays (when its warm out) that take nice rides thru ohio and wv twisties.

Its a good group of guys. and they dont hot dog or try to show each other up, just out havin fun, not to much passing unless they have a clear path.

I own a silver 9er but plan on painting it matte black in the spring.

Wow, you are really close. That sounds like fun, you will have to let me know next time you guys go out. Hopefully we have a short winter.
