New 919 Owner

Hello...I just bought a 2005 919 with 12,000 miles. Is in Mint as new condition for $4500.00. I believe this was a good price. The bike is awsome. I have owned Harley's , never any metric bikes. I am 49 and should have done this years ago. I love the response and look of this bike. Anything I should look out for in this model Year? Well again Hello from a new owner!!!

Welcome, you got a great bike! There isn't really anything you should look out for. Lots of people modify their 9ers with different seats, exhausts, handbars, PC3, etc. That stuff is all personal preference but can make the bike much more enjoyable. You can't go wrong with riding the bike and seeing if anything bothers you. Most of the things people tend to dislike on this bike are pretty easily fixed.

Hello and enjoy the new ride. Only thing to look out for on that bike is being convinced by all the members of this forum to spend money you don't have on mods for it.
