Neon sparkplug wires

Have you guys/gals tried those neon plug wires that light up when your plug fires? I'm considering putting them on my 919, but I'd like the opinion of some experienced wrench monkeys.

They go hand in hand if you're riding a v-twin (read HD) and you want the bling-bling effect. Otherwise the $200 should be put into a more useful modification.

I hope the RC-51 members don't read this thread, it might give them ideas..

Your name says you want to be original. I say that's a damn good thing. But I think the neons belong on Neons. If you really want them, get them after you add the turbo charger to your bike. Run modest boost. You can put the neons underneath that bad boy. Everytime you crack the throttle, I garantee you will show off those lights to the world as you pass by.

No fight, and screw the people at work. I had a 99 superchick. Great bike. If I had a turbo on it, I would hav pics up the ass and would be able to back any claim up. Just want to see where the hell you are coming from. I see.

This is the last place in the world you have to shut up, especially if you tell the story straight or at least with a chunk of humor thrown in.

Many here will remember:

New idea. I'll put neon lights on my bike if it's on the side and it says EAT AT JOE'S

That would be awesome.
