need 1 link of chain

Got a problem and need some help. Last year I replaced my 114 link 530 chain with a 112 link 530VM Gold DID X Ring chain. Everything is fine, but I want to go up to a 17 tooth counter shaft sprocket, and the 112 wont fit. I have the 2 rivet master links but I need 1 inner link. I contacted Sprocket Center but they don't have any spare chain. They don't cut any of their chains, so if anyone has an inner link from a DID 530VM X Ring Gold please PM me.

I might have 6 links but it's 35 miles away.
I can find out for sure on Saturday and post up.

Dave, if you want to gear up, you can also go with a smaller rear sprocket. That way you wouldn't have to mess with your chain.

If you haven't gotten a PM yet, I may be able to help.

What tooth count rear sprocket would give the same results as going to a 17 tooth countersprocket?

Thanks Sokali, no rush I've been told that the inner link pin size is important, and you just cant use any 530 chain. I don't want change the rear sprocket as Sniper suggested. What I'm trying to accomplish is correcting the spedo error, and hopefully less vibes, as was stated in a previous post.

I think I may have the DID X ring chain in 530 you need. Let me know if you still need it and I will go double check.

Evad,

I looked around and couldn't find it, so can you check when you get a chance?

Thanks
Mike

Those recommending a 40 or 41T rear are on the ball. I wouldn't run 2 masterlinks on anything that makes 100 hp and does a low 11 sec qtr mile. Engine cases damage or a chain wrapping itself around the rear wheel at speed is not something you want to experience!
