Naked in the parking lot

New tenants in my office park - went from a 1 motorcycle affair with a few others de vez in cuando to a four naked bike affair! What are the odds?

Me too, if the XB12 were the same price as the 919 I'd be wearing frilly chaps right now.

lol well i sat on the xb9 and it fit dam near perfect. light, comfortable, cool styling, but the harleys dealers think they are made of gold cause they dont want to budge a dime on the price. not to mention it IS a harley motor in the end and i was concerned about reliability. im happy with the 919 but one day maybe ill buy a used buell for the stable, they are just damn cool and look like a ton of fun

I'm amazed with how short the wheelbase is on that bike. One day I hope to score a ride - that rider works in my office. The Aprilia belongs to a new rider...has already been down.

And, sorry McCrimmon, but FZ-1's grills are too ugly to love.

I have a friend that really likes his, BUT, at any temp over about 95, it won't run. He's a good mechanic, but, neither he nor the Buell Dealer can find the problem. I saw he has it listed to be sold...finally.

The salesman at the third dealer (the one that could get it running) told me it wouldn't run it really not weather or rush hour traffic. One honest salesperson...

Bring it up here...it'll run fine!

No issues for the guy at work, FWIW. He runs it in the summer here, too, which is rougly equivalent to a gajillion of whatever summer you 'think' you have.

Kidding aside, I'm not a fan of Buell's. I like that Aprilia, but a big no thank you to Buell.

which is pretty sad and makes me very glad i got my 919... took her out on a flight the other day when temps were ~ 100*F during some santa anna winds... i could sit at a light for a good 2 min before the fan would come on... it would kick on and temp guage would never go above halfway... i <3 my 919!

XB Buell with an RC51 engine. I'd buy one, I don't care what it would cost.

......ok, as long as they didn't put the scoop shovels around the radiator.

Oh, to answer your question: 10 to the 17th power.

It may be hotter in Gilbert, but, Las Vegas ain't no refrigerator. Apparently, hot weather bothers more than one Buell.
