Mystery solved, I'm an idiot

I've been having an intermittent problem with my headlight going out when turning the bars full right,
usually when backing out of the garage or parking space.
I assumed it was a wiring issue because I recently had the headlight apart to upgrade the bulb.
I opened the headlight assembly back up to look for loose connections but found nothing.
This has been going on for over a week. The other twist is that it only seemed to happen at night.

Well I finally figured it out .... with the bars turned full right the starter switch would sometimes barely contact my tank bag thus killing the lights. Only noticed it at night cause the headlight would die until I straightened the bars back up. Felt like a real genius after that. Remember to look for the obvious!

That's funny in a good kinda way. Glad you didn't rip everything apart time after time to find it.

I think you should take your headlight switch apart just to be sure, hate to jump at the first easy solution you find.
