My wife is pregnant!

Mine too! No joking. We already have two and thought about a third down the road, but we got a little surprise on the way. Confirmed at the doctor's office Friday. If you guys remember, we just had one six months ago. I'm excited, but being surprised is not cool on this topic.

She knows I'm not selling the bike though She also gave me the green light on picking up the Scala Rider Q2 so I can ride all summer. She WANTS me to have it so she can call if she REALLY needs something.

Birth control doesn't always work. She was on the pill and I watched her take it EVERY night. I guess if God wants you to have a baby, you'll have one. He sure has a sense of humor sometimes.

Congratulations! Two close together can be tough at times, but so worth it!

The pill can be effected greatly by anitbiotics and the generic versions are not always as reliable.

Pill is 99% effective. That's awesome, unless you're one of the "lucky" 1%. Ah, well. At least you'll still have all the supplies when the next pops out. Congrats!

Get ready... now you go from man to man defense to zone. Trust me on this one. I have three boys. They are 17, 13 and 10. The last one was a surprise also. I can't imagine life without him. They all have dirt bikes and ride like they are invincible. Man, I love my kids!

Congrats Chris.

Great analogy Doug. Man to man wasn't very effective sometimes with our two boys, mainly because one of the defenders got tired and it became two on one. This usually resulted in personal fouls and technicals.

Messes up a woman's health and doesn't even work! The pill companies threw in some sugar pills! You could consider adoption for folks that don't have your Super Olympic Medalist Sperm.

Good luck!

I got a good laugh out of that. I told my wife that when seeds are planted that deep there is nothing to stop them from growing. She didn't think it was funny.

I need a bumper sticker that says "My Sperm Is Faster Than Michael Phelps"

That would be great for the back of your mini-van.

You couldn't pay me to own a mini van. For some reason I despise the things. We do have one of these though...

5.3L V8, 4 wheel drive, heated leather seats, seats 7, and can tow 6,000 lbs. That's my kind of kid hauler.

I saw a great bumper sticker/magnet on a minivan the other day ... "LIVING THE MINIVAN DREAM!"

The guy driving didn't look all that happy ...

We've had our share of minivans and I must admit I drove our last one the most. Great room, great gas mileage, haul as much stuff as most pick-ups, etc. Great for guys night out. Easy to get into and out of. DVD screen a bonus. You could also pack it with a silly crazy amount of stuff for road trips. Probably one of the most comfortable seating positions of any car I've ever owned.

If you can get over the van "stigma", they're nice. Got rid of our first SUV for a minivan. It was difficult for her to put the infant seat into the SUV and later as they grew, the auto doors and low height made life easier for them to get in and out on their own. Little Miss Independences'.

Now our SUV's aren't big enough for our road trips skiing and to all the sporting events. Thinking of upsizing.

All valid points...but can it carry 7 passengers, all their ski gear, and tow the boat? Our SUV also has a dvd player with wireless headphones.

If I ever was forced into a minivan, it would probably be the Honda Odyssey. But since we go everywhere, including through the dirt road to get to the family cabins, I'll stick with a solid rear axle and fully locking 4-wheel drive.

I took the company minivan (2008 Chrysler --- whatever model) to Chicago once last year. It made it the entire 400is mile journey on one tank of gas. According to the display, it was getting MPG in the 30s.

It was the Odyssey. Great vehicle. It seated 8 and carried all the stuff. Would tow a small boat. And, did get 28-30mph on the highway.

Obviously, no off-road capabilities. SUV's have their advantages ... definitely. Thus, the reason we no longer have the minivan.
