My Version of the 919....

thought I would share my version ....this is not for everyone but i like it. Continental TKC80 front and rear, renthal bars and Ducati Diavel mirrors. M4 exhaust...wow its loud.
Tires ride way better then i thought and was warned about.... plus it makes it look like a tank, rocket upright thing.

Awesome man! What size is the rear tire?

I wanted to swap in a set of tires like that the last time I rode to New Mexico. Definitely will do it when I ride to Alaska.

I like it!
Not the best set up for my needs, but if I lived down a long gravel road....

That thing looks sick!... makes me want to pick up another 9'er and convert it to offroad duty...

Same here. I like it a lot. I really thought about that monster TKC80 but decided that at $250 a copy with a life expectancy of 3k they were too rich for my blood. I wish somebody offered something between the TKC80 and standard street tires in a 180/55.

BTW: You can easily raise the ride height an inch and a half for about $10.

I'm liking that! A little asphalt paint and it'd make a fun gravel road blaster.

I knew Ken would like this haha.

awesome! how is it on the street?
did you do the 900rr header to an m4 slipon?

you should do all the silver accents in army green. :drool

I think if i were to do a scrambler style i'd keep the high exhaust, although it does look cool low.
hmm.. there were some cheap niners floating around lately...

thank you !!!
well the tires are great on the road not much different then street ones .... under aggressive throttle they spin easier then the street ones.... for me it was mostly the mad-max look
I do not believe the tires will last 3K.... maybe on a long cruise and only the front.... the way i ride maybe 1500 for the rear.... ouch.
No slip on for the exhaust... its a "one pice" welded setup. it came with the bike. i have the comple original.

I kind of looked at it and spent some time looking but have found nothing that i could maybe modify .... you are right i would have to build one from scratch.
