My new Speed Triple!

Here she is! I'm loving this bike!

Handles very well. Easy to raise the front wheel and corners like a dream. It appears that the stock suspension is better than the 919. Tons of torque with the three cylinders. It seems to feel and fall between a V-Twin and the I4. Lots of torque like the V-twin, but smooth like the I4. Pulls hard from 3K RPM on up. A very unique engine and bike! If someday you guys want something different than the good old 919 I would highly recommend the Speed Triple. FUN, FUN, FUN!

That thing is just drippin' sweet!

Looks even more naked than the 919 plus a good suspension under it.

Keep us posted.

Sweet ride, I might need to do the same and trade the 919 someday. Keep us up to date on it. Oh and good luck selling the 919 if you havent yet

That's a bad ass lookin bike, congrats, nice to see folks goin against the grain ! I think the one place the Japs lost it is in fairing everything over, hangin out naked mechanicals has a raw appeal, Triumph has found their niche with the Triples, the Daytona 675 is a homerun as well.

Sweet Ride! Is it stock or have you made any mods to it? I noticed the front signals look like they are mounted on the side of the radiator!

Just got back from about 60 miles on her! BIG SMILE! The triple cylinder engine is amazing! Only mod to date is the rear fender removed and used a Mad Doctor fender eliminator kit. Looks sweet. The turn signals are mounted on the radiator from the factory. Different, I know! So far so good! 500 miles on her and haven't broken down!

Those bug eyes are one of the triple's main trademarks. Ever since it came out it has had them, and I for one love the look. It is weird/unique, but it is just part of the icon.

Can you mount an acerbis head light on that thing? Looks like the cluster and headlights attach at the same spot unfortunately. Wound look pretty weird with the cluster out front of the headlights I guess.

Some nice touches on that bike. I like the stubby rear and single-sided swingarm. Triumph has definitely designed a winner... If they only made the original Roulette Green...

Lovely bike, I love them, they sound awesome. I want one at some point, just a couple of grand more than a 900 Hornet though so maybe next bike change if funds allow. The guy who owns Triumph is a builder who made his money building houses - then became a "housebuilder" building whole estates. His name is John Bloor - top bloke. He bought the Triumph company when it was on it's knees in fact I think they had stopped making bikes altogether. We are only talking about 15 years ago or thereabouts.

I am sure some Triumph expert will correct me if I am slightly wrong with the timescales.

By the way the factory is only about an hour and a half away from me.

Sweet I like the white myself. The gold color doesn't look too bad either. Similar to the 959 when they came out.

Beautiful.

I love that bike (especially the bug-eyes look). I wonder if they offer it in an asphalt black....

Congrats!

Mr. Krylon says they offer it in matte black...

Nice bike, man! That thing just looks mean. I bet dogs and children run away scared of that thing.

I love the Speed Triple (slight preference for the white one). After riding an S3 on a Triumph demo I was hooked. Sold the SV and started looking for a used one... none to be found so I got a 919... close enough. One day I'll get the S3 though, I fell in love with it on a 30 minute ride!

The 919 is an awesome bike as testified by many members on this site (including myself), but the Speed Triple offers a little more in the style department. I do love the looks of this bike! Did I also mention how great it handles and the awesome torque it produces!
