I don't like the digital tach, or ABS. Other than that, I'm sold. Go ahead and have someone get you one in UK and send it over. Exchange rate is only like $1.97 to a British pound lol. Be a mighty fine 19,000 dollar bike.

My high school/college/coworker (one person) said we should import some. Who is in? Any legal issues?

I don't think there is a market in the U.S. for a $20K CB1000R.

Thanks for the review Hass! You neglected to mention its devo from the 919... Not 2up friendly with less passenger leg room and raised launcher seat. Honda still has years to design a mini-ST before my 9er wears out...PLEASE!

Honda already makes a mini ST, it's called a Deauville.

Still not crazy about the headlight, but love the rest of the bike. If I had the money I would definitely be in on getting some here in the states.

Why the hell isn't it shipped here? Why aren't riders of these United States allowed to buy these here at OUR local dealerships?
Oh it seems that we are able to get any cruiser styled bike from pocket sized <250cc's up to 2 plus liters, but not all of what is allowed in Europe or even Canada just across a border line.

That looks great. I wasn't convinced seeing the early pictures of it, however that black looks great.

Cheers

I've heard the new hornet 600 and CB1000 are made in Italy and due to the weak dollar/strong euro would be too expensive in the USA.
