My 919 Top Sellerie seat

I thought about going to Corbin or sending my seat off to Sargent but I ended up getting this complete seat from Top Sellerie in France. They had this one already made and sent it to me first with a deposit if I didn't send mine back. Rider and passenger both have gel inserts. Total cost with shipping both ways was probably around $400 but I prefer the look of this over the others. After a few hundred miles it's very comfortable and I love the butt pocket.

I might have gotten the last one but I'd definitely recommend it if you don't plan on hanging on to your stock seat.

Seat looks great! Can I ask where you got the belly pan? My 919 is red as well, and I really like the look of it on your bike

Common Sense...so rare, it's kind of like a SUPER POWER!

There are the same seat covers on sale from eBay, both from the company in France, and Poland. I think they are REALLY nice, and I almost bought one, but I think I would want one that didn't have the "Hornet" embroidery on it. That, and I didn't want to attempt to install it myself, but I guess you could find a local shop to do it. I had a Sargent done (photo), then I picked up a used Corbin. I like them both

France:

Poland:

I personally like the "Hornet" embroidery. Lots of people don't even know what my bike is half the time lol. I almost did a cover as well but I wanted some more comfort.

Yeah I will be getting a seat cover from Wijalis, Poland. I'll have a crack at fitting it myself. I like the hornet logo. The bike is known as a hornet 900 in Australia/Asia and Europe. I get asked all the time "what is it?" I'm concerned the logo stitching would get dirty/stained. I'll stick with the plain look, black stitching and such. Think I'll wait until my stock seat cover is crappy.

The belly pan is from Ermax in France
I had to modifiy it a bit on the left side as my center stand was in the way
If you get one and want to paint it, be aware that the original color code (at least on my red bike) did not match the real color on the bike so the painter got the front fender as a reference when doing the job
Regarding the Hornet logo, I asked wijalis to remove it, maybe I regret that....i dont know....

Thanks man, I put a lot of thought into the overall look. I've been modifying cars most of my life and this is my first big road bike so I went a little nuts. I've already changed a few things since those pictures lol.

Got my Wijalis seat cover today. Maybe they don't like Honda's in Poland.
It's for a Hornet cb P00!

I haven't fitted cover yet. I get a stapler gun this week and will have a go at it this weekend. Bit nervous as I've never covered a bike seat before. I've watched a few videos.
The Wijalis seat cover seems very well made, has 5mm foam under vinyl. I got a all black, no logo cover. Has nice gripping vinyl where the bums sit. Good stitching. Hope I don't mess up a good cover.
Sugar, how have you found your cover?

I sent the whole seat to Poland and they did everything, including gel pads under the front/driver seat, so I really dont know how/what they put under there, but it still looks just as fine as the day I got it back

Fitted my seat cover. I was sweating bullets, never done a seat cover before. It fitted on well. Feels real nice on my butt.
