Motrax mini barend mirrors

Anyone want to give me some advice on how to install these things?

The bolt that they sent me is bigger than the one used for the stock handlebars ends.

I've got the same mirrors. They come with hardware for both the inside diameter of steel and for aluminum bars.

I may not be of help because I'm running the mirrors without the barends.

Photos?

I am working on installing the same mirrors. If you are running the stock handlebars and barend weights, you'll have to remove the barend weights and the vibration dampers from the handlebars. I thought about turning the barend weights down to allow the mirrors to clamp onto them, but the barend weights can turn putting your mirrors out of adjustment. Once you have removed the weights and dampers, you can use the mouinting hardware that came with the mirrors.

I got two weeks into my Motrax mirrors before the left-side mirror went to hell. The vibrations were enough to allow the riveted mirror to rattle free. There is no adjustment point enabling me to tighten the mirror. I purchased them at Cycle Gear who said they will replace the mirrors with a new set. I'll go that route and give another update if the new set of mirrors run into the same problem.
