Talking More Pipe polishing

I might have done mine a little differently this weekend. The general idea is the same good idea from this site.
Mine were in rough shape from the previous owner apparently never cleaning the pipes. I've seen where some only used 500 or only 400 grit. I had some bad spots that I used 220 grit on and just went quickly over the whole set with 220 to make progress. I then stepped it up to 400-600-800. That left a nice satin finish that had a slight gleem to it. I then applied the metal polish and buffed them out which really brightened them up and made them more reflective....

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics but, I'm sure there are enough pics of polished pipes on this site.

Nice clock. But it should read 9:19.

Oh, pipes look good too.

I did some pipe polishing this weekend also... everything still looks the same so I'll probably go at it again tonight.

Seriously though, the header looks great. Good job!
