Monumental Decision

she said she has made. She decided after seeing another red 919 with slip ons that she WANTS some noise. She figures that since her income is 1/3 of mine that when I "mod" my toys she should be able to spend 1/3 of what I spent. I might even agree with her if she did not want to go back 18 months on my toys for my toys expenditures. When you have 3 bikes and one is your toy toy and the other is part toy you can go thru some cash.
Does anybody else have that problem with their wimmins or is she just going thru a change in her early 40's?

So are you saying she wants to spend her money or your money or 'both of your' money? Perhaps if your lucky enough to be with a woman who rides a 919 then why not get a nice exhaust for the bike, regardless of whose cash it is. Life is short, both of you should be able to enjoy it, eh?

Dude, its a battle you will loose - she has the power to win ! Just accept your fate and she may let you live !
Just be glad she lets you have a couple of bikes - there are ALOT of wives/SOs that would have no part of that !

+1
The best woman I ever met just happens to not be interested in bikes. My happiness does not revolve around that but it would be nice for sure.

The children are her sole pleasure. She lives & breathes for them. She spends on them, I spend on bikes (a fraction of course) . She even went so far as to ask me not to tell her which I equate to a politician's wife asking him to be discrete with his extramarital affairs. haha So I share my purchases & enthusiasm with you bums instead.

Time for a trade-up.

My SO says the furniture and house will be sold off long before her beloved 9er, plus she keeps shopping for the future bike. Yeah I'm a lucky dog.

I am also lucky enough to have my better half interested in bikes. 9er no less. She is just learning to ride it so far. Once she wants to mod it I cannot say too much after spending so much on mine.
