mirrors question

Hey, guys. After a previous thread introducing myself, a kind poster recommended napoleon mirrors, which made me look into what they were. I found these on ebay.

Question (silly) - the hornet has 7/8" hollow handlebars right? So, these would fit, right? They look awesome, don't they? And, if you think they'd fit, don't buy their last pair, now...

Yes, they will fit. You'll lose the bar end(s), though. Honestly, I don't care for the chrome look of the Napoleons. The 919 isn't really about chrome, IMO.

You might want to take a look at the CRG hindsight before you grab a set of those Napoleons. CRG mirrors are top-notch quality, but more expensive. The nice thing about the CRG units is you can get an adapter that mounts them in the end of the bar rather than moving all your controls inboard and clamping directly to the handlebars

Re: mirrors question

The view provided by the CRG mirrors is superior. You will be surprised by the wide and clear field of view rather than by any impression that your view is clipped.

There is a way to keep your bar-end weights and use the CRG mirrors also if you see an advantage to doing that.

If you read my reply in your first post greetings and salutations I did recommend the CRG mirrors. Don't let the small diameter deceive you, these precision optics and panoramic view are second to none.

I think Naploeon makes these in black also.
