Seller has 0 Feedback, and he wants the potential buyer to contact him first about payment instructions. Why can't he just post payment options?

My guess is its a scam or a hot bike. The saying goes, if its too good to be true, it probably is!

3) no VIN
4) zero (0) feedback score. sellyjohn-go2( 0 ) New eBay Member (less than 30 days) since Sep-21-07. So his first transaction on eBay is to sell a high priced item? No previous transaction at all.
5) misspelled or incorrect grammar in the description. Usually someone for which English is not their first language. Probably actually run overseas.
6) no clear payment details.. bet they want you to use a service like western union or send a check etc.
7) no questions listed. You know people have asked questions on this one, why not show them?

I have seen these same type of scams on Craig's List as well. Bet these pictures can be linked to another auction or listing. Probably even a legitimate one when they were used first time.

As suggested, it could be a stolen bike.. but I'd bet it's actually a pretend bike.

With something too good to be true, I'd have to see it (and the title) in person before ever sending a cent.

If I was anywhere near Worcester, MA I'd go check it out.

It doesn't make sense to buy any vehicle sight un-seen, especially over the internet.

As far as it being too good to be true, let's wait till the end of the auction. Last minute bidders usually bring it up to the expected selling price. I'm sure alot of people are watching htis auction.

But then, I'm sure alot of those watching are as sceptical as us, and the final bid may stay low, as a newbie bidder learns his lesson... or comes out with a great deal!

I wouldn't bid on this if he expected some kind of payment before even seeing the bike in person.

Everyone needs to start out sometime on E-Bay, but I pretty much stay clear of any sellers with no feedback and/or very new members.

Last year I ran accross a great deal on a GSXR-750 listed in Brookings, SD. Town where I work. Even had a Brookings, SD license plate. Cheap price, but not so cheap you'd really second guess it.

Contacted the guy and asked to go see it. No, he wasn't in town and it was already crated to be shipped. Asked where it was crated at and he just kept giving me the run around. **Scam**
