Yep. . .I'm sure all reasonable offers would be entertained, especially if the seller's wife has any say so.

It is not an unreasonable price if just the right person sees it, given all the mods cost a small fortune. However, a lot of people don't like other people's mods. Usually, modifications are worth less than 10 cents per dollar spent, and sometimes subtract from the price.

So, good luck. You might have just the right person see it and fall in love with it. In my area, I'm guessing an 05 919 would struggle to break $5000. The love isn't felt in this area for naked bikes.

You said it. Mods don't add to resale value. I doubt anyone is buying anything out of love these days - times are tight and money is funny.

How about a rich WT member buy it and donates it as a WT super raffle prize, then give all WT members a free ticket chance per post!

I apologize for plagiarizing the future economic plans.

I'd be willing to pitch in a few Jacksons for chances to win that amazing ride! As long as you and your kids run the raffle!

The seller of the bike might be better off trying to take the bike back to stock and selling the parts separately. Sell the bike for 4500-5000 with as close to stock as possible.

Funny you say that! Just today I was thinking about all the Raffle's and or Fundraisers I've Sponsored or Organized. On a couple other sites I use to frequent I Raised money to buy a Dyno, Raised over 10 grand for a Sick little girl and her family and done a couple other raffles like Carbon Fiber one we did here.

I sold it to him for $6,800 with only 5,500 miles...
You have to see it next to a stock 9er to fall in love with it...The biggest reason I sold it was because I live in Utah for 8 months out of the year, it's freezing here and tires just don't stick to the road when it's this cold...and I figured the odds of finding a buyer for it were better in SoCal than in Utah--more people that ride there.

Life's too short to put ugly chics on bikes

You have first right of refusal, please take it back! Very sad this awesome bike can't land in a deserving home! Your profile is out of date...

Not in a hurry to sell the bike. I almost bought a new 07 919 at Bert's in Azusa for $6500 but saw majornickmo's bike and picked his bike hands down. It's the cleanest naked bike I've seen. Plus he introduced me to WT and went for a ride with some of the local guys here in so-cal and they are the nicest bunch of riders.

Bike cuts my commute from Pasadena to OC from hour and half to 30 minutes. Love the bike but like I said, wife is pissed that I bought another toy. Mini Cooper with John Works Package. ( I can fit both the Mini and 919 on one side of the garage, they match too!)

Sounds like you need to buy her a toy now.

2003 Honda 919 - flapper mod, Clear Alternatives Smoke Tailight w/ integral turn signals, Stebel Nautilus air horn, DIY fender eliminator, LED license plate bolts, LED front turn signals, no resistor or new flasher so I blink like crazy.

I did. bought her a new leather sectonal she wanted and a flat screen. I guess its not the toys but more that I just went to look at the car at the dealer and ended up driving the Mini home. Its a fun car especially on the freeways.

Sounds like my wife. She doesn't know the meaning of window shopping. If she shops, things must come home with her. She can't just look at things and then leave them there. Which is why we are always broke. (well, that and my addiction to expensive hobbies)

I think I'm going to heed your advice.

With the Yorba Linda fire recently, it took me 2hours to get home during the first part of the week. Rode the bike yesterday and today and got home in 25 minutes.

I'd rather wrap my legs around my wife over the bike anyday. It's funny, she is cool about me getting the bike a couple of months ago. Just pissed that I dropped close to $30k on a car without tellin her. (it's my A.D.D.)
