Maintenance Day!

Today was a fine day for some serious motorcycle maintenance... Thanks to Mtnceguy for all his help!

Got my Givi engine guards pulled off, repainted and replaced. now they are all golden & shiny again and aren't all chipped up anymore! Also got the chain cleaned, scrubbed, lubed & adjusted, fixed a pesky malfunctioning rear turn signal (dirty connection, dialectric grease fixed it) cleaned the little stupid breather oil collector on the airbox, and many & various other chores accomplished!

We also noted that my tires are shot...I knew they were getting close. I was hoping for another thousand miles or so, though. I have cords showing on the rear as of today, and the front ain't far behind.... I guess ~16,000 miles is a pretty good run on michelin PR 2ct' complaints here!

Got the bike washed and waxed, too. it's ok though...She's still my dirty, dirty girl!

Well, fire the engines! Spur this iron space-pony on!

Wow - that is impressive.

Its about time for me to do the Spring General Maintenance thing... this weekend is looking good for that.

In a few thousand miles it will be time for my first valve check/adjustment. Time to inquire about the traveling shims
