Lower pegs?

This doesn't come up very often, but Wild Hair has a simple kit for lowering your pegs. It seems most people want to go higher, but I'll bet there a few long legged guys that would like a bit more legroom for those long rides. You'll give up a little ground clearance. Probably not an issue most of the time anyways, plus I'm sure they come off easily. The 919 stockers are spot on for me. @ $160, I think I'll try a set on my RR tho.

I wonder what you get for $160?

I agree, they're terribly expensive. It's a motorcycle part......

However, sometimes a little is a lot. The HeliBars I put on my 929 were $250. They are worth every penny.

On my sv650, I went and bought buell pegs. They lowered my pegs buy a little less than inch or so. Best part it only took a tiny amount of grinding to make them work, and they were $28. The pegs are from a buell xb12 or lightning.

I am pretty sure they would work on a 919. I might just need to try it.

here is a pic of them on my sv.

Xring, if you try this let us know how it goes--my passenger needs lower pegs on the 9-er, and I was about to reluctantly shell out the $160 for those peg lowers. But if there's a more inexpensive solution, well...
