LED license plate bolts installation?

Can anyone tell me if one needs to install a resistor or anything when using LED license plate bolts? I'm thinking I could use the wires from the stock license light when I take off the rear mudguard assembly and mount the plate under the tail.

Thanks,

Mat

You can wire it right up the the existing plate light wires.

No need to wire resistors, but do becareful of anything metal (besides the plate) touching them, like the exhaust. If the engine is running and this happens you will blow your 10A ignition fuse.

They work great though. I have had them for over a month and no problems (other than the above mentioned hiccup).
