Great picture, Orange with a black engine is a great combo. CF Exhaust makes it even better!

Thanks guys, I am in the East Midlands - which is in the middle really, close to Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire & Lincolnshire - all counties with lots of twisting roads and some parts very hilly. Yes the Orange looks great with the Black engine and Black exhausts - I really like it and it's a rare 919 colour combo.

The last of the 919's in New Zealand were burnt orange or black with all black engines. Personally I prefer the black/titanium engine but I may be bias!

Nice pipes - now get rid of the mickey mouse mirrors!

That color combination is SWEET! One of the best looking Hornet/919s I've seen.

The other guys are right though - the only thing I'd change is going with some black bar end or low profile mirrors.

It's a fool who looks for logic in the chambers of the human heart.

If they'd have sold Orange in the US, I'd have had one. We got mostly shitty colors. Gloss black and candy red were the only 2 good ones. Silver isn't too bad.

Am I colorbling? To me the tail looks red, tank almost a pink hue and the fender I see a sligh hint of orange? Bad picture or me? Could you post a different pic please?

Maybe just a bad picture, I will take another with a camera rather than my phone which that was taken with. Yes Manchester is only about 60 miles from where I am and Birmingham is about 40 (I am between the two - sort of).

What about the 03 matte smoke finish? shiiiiit, thats the fastest one. And the slickest!

Pob, that bike looks sweet! Diggin the color for sure!

Keep the mirrors if you like Em its cool to see a clean 9er closer to stock form.

I actually like the stock mirrors. I have a pair of Black Renthal ultra lows that I am fitting soon - just waiting for heated grips to arrive then I will fit them in one go. The cans are made by a small company (just a few guys) called Performance Racing Parts, cost 320 the pair including link pipes and brackets. Very nice to deal with. I have had stuff from them before and as well as being nicely made they sound really fruity without being too loud.

That is a tidy bike. 08' model that we would never have. Nice orange and full black engine/transmission assembly...OEM.
