Just taking out my frustration. Grrrrrrr...

I haven't had a chance to ride my bike in over 4 weeks now and it's starting to show. The main culprets are...

The weather...
Work...

It has been pi**ing down for weeks now with the odd accasional semi fine(ish) day but always on a week day.

WHEN WILLL IT END...!!!!

Ahh now I feel a bit better...

I've ridden every day for the last three weeks in the worst rain Fairbanks has seen in 40 years. Throw on the rain gear and go for it!

what?
you letting a little (ok its been a hell of alot) bit of rain stop ya.
I ride mine everyday to work(gotta don't have a car)
the storm last week wasn't as bad as last years tho.

The guys at work say i'm mad,
but i'd rather ride in the rain/storm( )than drive a car in perfect weather...

I have rode for about 2 months straight. Rain doesn't bother me at all. I just need to make it to work dry and all will be fine. I missed three days this week, because i had a strained muscle in my shoulder and couldn't use my left arm.

I'm sure this doesn't make you feel better, but at least some of us can enjoy riding... Even if it is in the 90's every single day.

Come to Texas, brother. Rain is NOT an issue. Of course your helmet turns into a toaster oven around noon...

Funny isn't it...

In the winter it's too wet or cold. In the summer it's too hot...

In days gone by I would have just Done It... That's what happens when you age...

Then I just caught on the 6 pm news about a fellow rider who was killed a few hours ago and only just down the road... Clevedon...!!! Wonder what happened...???

Was supposed to work today but a couple of friends came around and wanted to buy some rider gear, so the brother, friends and I head to the shop in the car. They bought, we watched,, then we all decided it was far to fine to pass it up.. We RODE....!!! We've had more rain the Noahs arc had, just lately. Since we work for ourselves we decided to join our friends and take the day off and ride...

All I can say is YESSSSSSSS...!!! What a neat ride...!!! Man I am such a happy chappy tonight... Been waiting for this ride for like - geeez I can't remember how long now...

Congrats for being able to get out for a spell and ride, I'm about to do the same here, We've been having wave after wave of showers off of Fay for days now. Short scoots could be made if ya didn't have to head to far. I prefer to ride Fair Weathered if at all possible. But I do take rides in the rain just to keep up those skills up like I fixing to this morning on a 100 mile round trip into Charleston for a short visit.
I actually feel sorry for any [email protected]& who is sitting behind a desk right now, I actually do, just cause they ain't gonna be on the ride that Im fixing to take.

Isn't that why they make rain suits? My Nelson Rigg suit keeps my work clothes nice and dry.
