Just added some 3M Carbon fiber vinyl what do you think?

I love the carbon look and thought I'd try out some of the Carbon Fiber 3M DI-NOC Vinyl on the 919. Here are some before and after pics. What do you guys think?

I don't hate the piece itself - but it doesn't look like it fits in.

It could look ok I guess, but you would need new fabric on your seat (maybe something with a texture to it?) and have to do the rest of the black pieces in CF too.

I guess it just makes the rest of the black pieces look dull, or shabby, or something /shrug.

I think its looks great. I have seen a you tube where they are wrapping a car in that stuff. I wonder what a tank wrapped in that would look like.

It looks like you did a really good job putting it on, but with that being said, it does look a little lonely. I should sell you my Corbin seat. I had that done in carbon leather. Any plans on doing more? Where did you get it from?

I think it looks pretty good. Not sure what kind of aftermarket exhaust you have in the picture but I imagine it would look good if both were CF.

Thanks for the input all.
I think xraso's comment on the black looking dull might be due to the flash on the camera and how much this stuff pics up light. I might take some pics without the flash and see how they look

I was thinking of doing the front sprocket cover but wanted to wash up the bike this weekend first to see how it handles the water. It has a 11yr interior/ 4yr exterior guarantee so it should be ok.

I picked it up at stickercity.

I installed the real thing to compliment the carbon windscreen

Looks great LDH.
I like how the carbon pieces complement each other and the rearsets work with the blacked out small side covers.

I think you r right. After looking at the same thing in LDH's shots taken outside - if it looks like those shots then it looks pretty damn good actually

and +1 to this - having your cans CF'd also would look really good (again going from LDH's photo of how it goes together)

Any worries on the heat from the exhast melting the adhesive holding this stuff if you did your cans?
