Yes, the z1000 arrived Nov 17. see post #77
https://www.wristtwisters.com/f94/201...red-25469.html

As for keeping the 919... gotta sell it. The zed and 9er are just too similar. Imagine everything weak about the 919, suspension, frame, etc., fixed. Then imagine everything great about the 919 made even better. That's the zed. I won't be riding the 919... so it has to go.

Plenty! You still wanting to get yer hands these Sato rear sets? Took those off tonight in fact. I'm debating on whether to sell the trick bits now or wait until bikes gone. My logic was not to sell the goodies until after the bike was gone... so if I end up keeping the bike, I'll still have the goodies... but I seriously can't see myself keeping the bike at all now.

What's a fair price for like new Sato rear sets in silver, with passenger pegs? Does anyone even have money any more?

Sato gen 2 slip-ons in Titanium... repacked with Sato stainless core upgrade under 500 miles ago? Couple minor scratches and a tiny ding. ?

Version 4 speedo healer, PC3, smoke lens Clear Alternatives with LED integrated turn signal board. Race tech fork springs, 1 kg. 2004 Forks. Rizoma taper bars, silver, Rizoma fat bar adapter, black. Rizoma class mirrors, Rizoma grips and bar ends. Pazzo shorty levers in black.

What else?... Extra rear wheel with new bearings that still need to be installed. Two 45t rear sprockets, sunstar. One set of Oem sprockets. One 17t front as well. All sprockets are used but barely worn cuz I always replaced the chain as soon as it was a little stretched. Hate crappy chains... frequent chains saves sprockets. Spare front fender, asphalt black, made shinny from rubbing but otherwise flawless. Matte smoke tail piece.. very minor scratches.. perfect painter piece.

Plus I have a set of Michelin pilot 2ct, 120 front, 180 rear, brand new, never mounted, that has to go too.

Any of that crap sound interesting to ya?

Are the sprockets for a 530 or 520? If 520 I want them.

Is the Z1 really that good? (Havn't ridden it yet; no demo's availible here!) Is there nothing (apart from nostalgia) that you'll miss from the 919 functionality wise that the Z1 hasn't got or isn't better at? (geniune question, not being funny)

1 thing only. The 9er has more cargo space. That is, my saddle bags go on easier, tail bag, bigger tank bag etc. I have more than once used a bungee net to carry home 4 12 can frig packs on the back seat of the 9er. That just ain't gonna happen on the zed. That said, I do own a car and a truck and if hauling groceries is the bar to measure by, then we are comparing the wrong vehicles.

Your ongoing 919 contributions are going to be missed.
We'll be reliant upon your memory banks, which I suspect are pretty good.
