Is there anyone added gel pad to stock seat?

I'm planning to remove some orignal foam and add a layer of gel pad for longer trips so is there any brand or specific item someone tried and liked?

Hi Efe,

MarylandMike did a mod like this, he had some good pics and advice posted, too. use the search feature and look for seat mods, and maybe shoot him a PM about it, too. Good luck!

Well, fire the engines! Spur this iron space-pony on!

Spencer's Seat Mods will do it for you cheaply, like $75

There is a new product that is used normally in hospitals (I don't know the name, but any seat place probably would). I like it better than the older gel material. But, either way, I like having gel in my seat. One suggestion is to make sure to have a skinny layer of foam over the gel (or, you will burn your ass when the bike is left in the sun on a hot day).
