Installed my new Rizoma bars last night

Here are some before and after pics. I did take pics along the way and if someone wants some steps by steps I will post them up when I get the chance. I ordered these from PJs. It took only 7 days to get them here to Newfoundland and that included the weekend as well. Awesome service!!!

Looks great, I have the same setup on my 919. Only comment on the cool Rizoma grips is that you have to always wear gloves, they are not comfortable with bare hands. Of course you should always be wearing gloves anyway!

Yeah, man, that's good work. I have the Renthal ultra lows and it looks like the Rizoma geometry is somewhere between stock and the ultra lows.

Black really looks fantastic...NOT that I'm rethinking my bars or anything...but seriously, black looks awesome...NOT that I'm constantly thinking about how to rework my 919...honestly, though, black looks terrific...

Hey I have an extra set of Rizoma bars that I messed up installing, have two sets of control locating holes drilled in them and then I tried to cut an inch off each end with a pipe cutter and gave up before I got them cut down and ordered a new set.

Free for the cost of shipping if you or anyone is interested, they would need to have the ends finished off, don't think the two sets of locating holes are a big deal. The grips and controls will cover up any imperfections, so when finished and mounted they would look fine, I was just pissed at myself and wanted to start fresh with a new set and make them perfect. When I got the second set I just left them alone as far as width and I got the holes drilled in the right place on my first attempt. Of course I'd had plenty of practice by that time.

Sorry for the late response. I don't check the forum every day :-)

I ordered it all from PJs and it was $205 CDN to my door. And I dearly love the change in the riding style with the new bars. And I love black. I will gradually get to getting everything black if I can. Not sure if there are any local powdercoating shops here in my region.
