I'm pissed

I got home last night and blew a big ole fuse......On my front porch was the rim I had sent out to be straightened with a nice little letter. Sorry for the inconvience sir but we do not repair sport bike rims......WTF!!!

This is after I had contacted them and specifically asked "do you repair motorcycle rims" and to that the answer was "yes sir".

Well here is my question, do any other rims cross reference with the 919? I mean anything at all? 599, 900rr 600f3, f4, f2???? Does anyone want to give me their front rim as a gift?

Aparently, a Sportbike is not a Motorbike.

Man, that really sucks. Check out pyre80's posts on project919. I'm pretty sure he found that F4i wheels fit on the back and front. You might even find that a 900rr rear will fit, but I can't vouch for that.

EDIT: Yeah, F4i wheels fit on the stock 919. You'll need your stock brake disk, not sure about the cush drive. I'm pretty sure you could use either cush drive

Why? And, what's wrong with it.

Shiet, take one of mine if you need something to ride. They're just sitting there collecting dust. Zelda (that the XX) needs to be ridden hard. She misses it. She hasn't scrapped a peg or fairing in a long time!

Went to ride her after getting off the plane last week at 1:30a. Freak'n battery was and is still completely dead!

These guys can fix it http://www.snowcrest.net/gte/japan.html

The website is a little gheto but they do great work. Its only $50 per rim as well. I had an old F3 rim that was very tweaked and they fixed it good as new.

Locked up tight as a drum on the up stroke of the kick starter. Haven't pulled the cases yet but I'm pretty sure I grenaded the timing chain.....I'm not having a good Summer

If you'd really like to try it. Anytime.

WARNING (Disclaimer): Riding Zelda can be very addictive! Coming off an RC and onto Zelda, is like coming off a cold hard pointed rock stool and into a Berkelounger! The sneaky smooth power delivery will scary the poop out of you.

Sounds like the basket is chunked and jamming. Happened to me twice on a YZ and CR. 1-hr fix with the parts available.

Hmmmmm interesting, that's less than a 3rd of what I've been quoted elsewhere.
