i love my 919 so much that...

i bought two =]

nah just kidding. my dad bought the 2007 red one for himself. it is his first bike so i'll be putting a 17t sprocket on for him to have an easier time getting used to the bike. we actually bought the bike from a forum member, trevor who was hit in the chest with the paint bucket. hope his healing goes well

also you can see some of the mods i've done on my bike:

1. front screen
2. new mirrors with led blinkers installed, removed oem ones
3. painted rear hugger
4. zumo 550 gps mount hardwired to battery
5. sticky things on the sides of tank
6. spencer seat mod - mine looks bloated compared to stock

some other tidbits - phobman stand rocks my socks, my beagle is very awesome (she's 12), and trevor def did a lot of straight line riding in alabama! that rear tire was so flat spotted when we got it =]

Nice! I always wonder how the stock gearing or 17/43t setup would be. Also, I wonder if Trevor was in a Home Alone movie... lol j/k

good to know. Spencer did mention that someone had put some crappy foam under my seat and replaced the cover with marine vynl so that's most likely the reason for the seat bloat

I'd send it back and have them fix it! Unacceptable that they would use the wrong materials and then send it to you looking like that!
It's cool that you and your old man have the same bikes! Enjoy!

no no - the person that i bought the seat from before spencer got his hands on it modified it. when i got it i just shipped it over to spencer, who assumed that i had done the mods... very messy stuff =]
